Armed with the ability to create interest in any architectural style and in any color palette, Denise Maloney is passionate about crafting beautiful interiors for the most exacting of clients. She believes that “a beautiful home is not defined by how glamorous or expensive it is, but how personal and interesting you make it—how much it reflects you, your interests and your sense of humor. Those are the elements that give a home its soul and that is what makes it beautiful.”
Denise’s approach to design is sensible, yet playful; perceptive and discerning, studied and creative. She embodies an astute sense of scale and color, resulting in interiors that are timeless and classic, without sacrificing her clients’ very unique style and taste.
Known for her easy-going attitude and ability to listen “between the lines”, Denise’s approach to creating the perfect home is grounded in her custom furniture design. Individualized to fit a client’s very specific needs– from size to comfort level to color—her custom furnishings have graced the halls of both five-star hotels and private residences. Each piece Denise designs is functional, comfortable and of heirloom quality—cornerstones to designing a home that will last the test of time.
Denise has earned her NCIDQ Certification, putting her among a select group of interior designers whose education, experience and examination have earned them the highest level of recognition by this respected professional association. Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children and dog, not to mention ongoing renovations to their Eichler home. Denise also loves to burn off steam on the tennis court, where her teammates keep her moving and laughing.
