Last night, we attended a wonderful launch party for the 2015 San Francisco Fall Antiques Show. Hosted at the classic Brooks Brothers store downtown near Union Square, the event celebrated the arrival of the 34th year of the SFFAS. The delightful annual show always brings beautiful international antiques for collectors and appreciators alike. At the event, local interior designer Jay Jeffers and charismatic author Diane Dorrans Saeks hosted an interesting talk about the present and future of antique collecting, their place in the contemporary design world, and what to expect at this year’s show.
The show is open from October 22 – October 25 this year, and there are a number of exciting events to attend on the bill. We are especially looking forward to the “Elsie DeWolfe and Tony Duquette” Lecture on Friday, October 23 to learn more about the prolific designers who pioneered our industry. Be sure to visit the show at Fort Mason to take a look at these beautiful articles of the past, and think about how they could add character to your own living spaces!
