San Francisco Apartment Revealed

It’s been a dizzying few months, but at long last, I have some exciting new project work to share with my readers…

After a year-long journey to transform this apartment in the charming Russian Hill neighborhood, I am pleased to share the end result…a much lighter, brighter space complete with custom furniture that showcases the open floor plan.

We took the original bathroom from maple cabinets and black laminate to a serene retreat by adding a large-scale silver leafed mirror, flattering sconces and custom, curved front vanity complete with light quartz countertops and new Waterworks plumbing fixtures.  The basketweave mosaic stone floor completes the picture…

The kitchen was perhaps the most dramatic change.  Previously outfitted with builder-grade wood cabinets and dark countertops, the goal was to lighten the space and make this small kitchen work more efficiently for my client who loves to cook and entertain.  All new appliances coupled with white cabinetry, quartz countertops, and Ann Sacks subway tile help open up the space and make this kitchen a pleasure to work in.

It was such a pleasure to collaborate with this particular client to come up with a design that is functional AND pleasing to the eye.  To see more, you can find the full project here: San Francisco Home
