Back to School 2015

Can you believe we’re already entering September?  This year seems to be flying by!  As children start heading back to school, we are thinking of fun ways to make the transition back to the books as smooth, stylish, and organized as possible.

Small Space Backpack Storage

We love this storage idea for smaller entries!  A wall-mounted cubby shelf is the perfect place to store keys or place reminders for your kids as they come in and out of the door.  Placing hooks at a kid-friendly height also provides an organized spot to hang backpacks.

These colorful desk organizers from Pottery Barn Kids will help to keep homework spaces tidy.  The open storage makes supplies easier to see and access, and (hopefully!) easier to put away.

This contemporary spin on a pinboard provides functionality and beauty to office or homework spaces.  When you are not using the board to pin up photos, reminders, etc., it can act as a piece of wall décor.  Make it a fun DIY project by stretching your favorite fabric over a corkboard and adding a complimentary frame.

West Elm_Lacquer Office Accessories - Antique Silver

Lastly, if your homework space is more exposed to the rest of your home, these beautiful West Elm desk accessories are a great option for storage.  We’re loving the antiqued silver finish.

Wishing you all a happy and smooth transition back into the swing of school!
