Happy Fall Equinox! After a particularly hot summer, we are more than ready to trade in our sandals for boots, and scorching sun for breezy afternoons. Take a look at what has us feeling inspired this fall season!
There is something so inviting about fall décor – garlands of colorful leaves adorning the fireplace, the warm glow of burning candles, and of course an autumnal door wreath. Try adding acorns or corn kernels to candle jars for a subtle decorative touch that’s perfect for Fall!
It’s also time to move your tank tops and shorts to the back of the closet, and bring forward your warm coats and best jeans. Tartan and houndstooth patterns elevate outfits with classic sophistication, and can be edged up a bit with some rugged knee high boots. Loving the rustic harness hardware details pictured above.
Lastly, but certainly not least, food! ‘Tis the season for hearty soups, pumpkin EVERYTHING, and more robust red wines; think Syrah and Zinfandel. Many of the local wineries in Napa and Sonoma are hosting fall harvest parties and events through October, so keep your eyes peeled for those and make a fun weekend trip to wine country.
