Fashion Inspiration

As designers we are always waiting for the next big thing to catch our eye. However, there will always be that one mug, one blanket and that one dress that we will use over and over again because it’s just so warm and cozy.

This week I am being nostalgic with my nautical roots and have been inspired by these two fashion collections…

Adding a dramatic pattern against a natural landscape will not only make your pattern pop but help establish indoor from outdoor. Sunbrella’s outdoor draperies are not only a great fabric but mirror my nautical love perfectly.

Featured below is West Elm’s Bedding Collection…I’m loving the stripes!

And last but not least, using your favorite patterns as the focal point of any room. I am loving the simplicity and clean lines in this Victoria Hagan designed living room adorned with Delany and Long’s nautical fabrics.
