Making a statement with an Entry Foyer

They say “you’ll never get a second chance to make a great first impression”, and the same is true for your home.  The experience as you enter a home is an important one for you and your guests.  If you don’t have a formal entry, but you still want a focal point and somewhere to set your keys, try a wall-hung shelf to create the illusion of a foyer.  I designed this custom hatrack for a BAMO/Exclusive Resorts project in Hawaii and it was just the trick for a narrow hallway.

If you have a little more room to play with, try a drape table with a beautiful floral arrangement on it like this grand entry foyer I worked on back East…

It doesn’t take much to make a great first impression in your home, so think about a way to dress up your Entry with a small piece of furniture, artwork or a pretty shelf.
